Punjab Kings Skipper Shreyas Iyer’s “Out Of The World” Praise For Priyansh Arya’s Ton Goes Viral

The captain of the Kings of Punjab, Shreyas Iyer, described the young IPL, the young Priyansh Arya, the young IPL against Chennai Super King as one of the best sleeves “he has ever seen” in the tournament. PBKS returned Tuesday to gain tracks in the 2025 IPL with an 18 -point victory on CSK, leading to the 22 -year -old operator Arya 103. The right -hander recorded the fastest century by an unplated player in the history of the IPL, reaching the benchmark in just 39 deliveries. While the counters continued to fall at the other end, the left -hander broke 103 points out of 42 balls with seven limits and nine in sleeves.
“The way Priyansh played was sparkling to watch. It was a type of sleeve out of the world. When I told him about the last game, he was a little shy in his decision -making when he faced Jofra Archer.
“Today, he supported his instinct. He sank free, and that is the state of mind I want everyone to have in this team. Basically, it was one of the best blows I saw in IPL,” said Iyer at the post-match presentation ceremony.
Arya’s explosive sleeves put the momentum for PBKS, and the lower average order including Shashank Singh and Marco Jansen also added crucial races to the board of directors. While Shashank scored an undefeated 52 bullets on 36 bullets, Jansen also added 34 undefeated on 19 bullets while the Punjab posted a total of 219/6 in 20 Overs.
Speaking during the post-match presentation ceremony, Shashank, who came to beat when the kings of Punjab were at 83/5, explained that his state of mind was going down.
“When I went to beat, I had a word with Priyansh and I told him to continue playing positively. He had played crickets. I have known him for a few months.
Shashank was also questioned about the average order which did not behave with the bat, but the punjab striker said that losing fast counters is the nature of the format.
“T20 is a format where you express yourself. We have struck up to number 8-9. It is the freedom we have given. It is obvious that not everyone will occur every day. So, today, the average order has not clicked, but this happens in T20,” he said.
Devon Conway led CSK’s race, marking 49 ball 69, while Rachin Ravira and Shivam Dube also contributed to the bat. Finally, the objective turned out to be too stiff to continue, and CSK could only bring together 201/5 in 20 Overs.
Shashank spoke of the importance of home victory and said: “If you want to qualify for the first four, you have to win home games. Especially those who are end -to -end games. These are crucial matches. We had a good training session. We did a lot of work.
Meanwhile, Iyer insisted that his team has not yet played their best game of the season, but added that they will focus on the positive points before the next games.
“We have not yet played our best match. The nerves are still there. We have to go back and do group capture sessions. But we have won the match, and we have to focus on positive points,” he said.
The Punjab Kings will then face Sunrisers Hyderabad at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium, Hyderabad on Saturday.
