Chennai Super Kings continued their disappointing race in the 2025 IPL when they collapsed on Sunday with a defeat of nine gates against the Mumbai Indians. It was a completely unilateral show because CSK was completely preceded by Mi at the Wankhede stadium. CSK posted a total of 176/5 with the kind permission of Ravira Jadeja and Shivam Dube. However, Suryakumar Yadav and Rohit Sharma were in a sublime fit while they guided their side towards a complete victory. After this loss, CSK remains at the bottom of the IPL table with only 4 points. Consequently, they will have to win the six remaining games and hope for favorable results from other teams in order to have a chance to achieve the IPL 2025 qualifiers.

Coming to the match, Rohit Sharma and Suryakumar Yadav commonly struck the half-century while the Mumbai Indians beat Chennai Super Kings by nine counters in a first Indian League match on Sunday.
Chasing 177, Rohit (76 not on 45 balls) and Suryakumar (68 steps out of 30) shared an undefeated 114 -point stand for the second window to bring MI back to the house with ease.
Raviund Jadeja (1/18) was the only CSK counter.
Earlier, Shivam Dube and Jadeja cracked half-pasts and shared a 79-point partnership for the fourth counter while Chennai Super Kings five champions were 176 for 5.
Dube struck 50 on 32 bullets, while Jadeja made 53 undefeated deliveries to compensate for an overly impressive beginning by the side in difficulty of MS Dhoni.
Ayush Mhatre, who entered the Place de Rahul Tripathi for the match, struck 32 points (15 balls) of precious in one.
