All India Football Federation Condemns “Senseless” Pahalgam Terror Attack




The president of the Football of India (AIFF), Kalyan Chaubey, expressed the greatest condolences on the tragic losses of life in the heinous terrorist attack in Pahalgam and described it as an “insane act of violence”. The brutal attack on the pahalgam of Jammu-et-Cachemire killed 26 civilians on Tuesday, mainly tourists and left many more injured. “On behalf of all the fraternity of Indian football, we express our deepest condolences on the tragic loss of life in the odious terrorist attack of Pahalgam. This insane act of violence has removed an innocent life and left families and broken communities. Our thoughts and prayers are with the families of the victims.

A minute of silence was observed before the 16 game of Kalinga Super Cup 2025 between Bengaluru FC and Inter Kashi launched Tuesday at the Kalinga stadium in Bhubaneswar, in memory of the victims of the Pahalgam terrorist. The two teams wore black mourning armbands.

Earlier, the attacker decorated with India, Sunil Chhetri, expressed sorrow in the face of the terrorist attack in Pahalgam. In a history article on Instagram, Chhetri said: “Smalled by the news out of Pahalgam. Words fail. My thoughts are with the families of all people affected by what is an act of cowardly terror.”
