The former current Indian cricket player has taken his love and their gratitude on the Indian armed forces while the Indian-Pakistani border tensions reach new peaks after the Indian forces managed to repel missile attempts and drone attacks on the other side of the border. Pakistan launched air attacks against Jammu on Thursday as well as several military and jaisalmer stations near the Western border in Rajasthan, but the air defense systems of India managed to thwart their attempts.

Friday, the Cricket Control Council in India (BCCI) suspended IPL 2025 with immediate effect, although for a week, due to the border tensions of India-Pakistan.

The attacks seem to be in retaliation for Operation Sindoor by the Indian Armed Forces on terrorist infrastructure in Pakistan, hence the attack on tourists from Pahalgam was planned. The terrorists killed 26 tourists – 25 Indians and a Nepalese citizen – near Pahalgam in Jammu -et -Cachemire.
