Invited to beat first, MI posted a huge total of 180/5 in 20 Overs after Suryakumar Yadav scored 73 * on 43 balls. Later, Mitchell Santner and Jasprit Bumrah broke out three counters each while Mi a packaged DC for 121 and won the match by 59 points. With this victory, the five -time champions obtained a place in the playoffs while DC was eliminated from the race.

Seeing that, Harsha smiled and also forced Suryakumar for his sweet gesture. During the presentation, the striker also dedicated the prize to his wife Devisha Shetty.
“It’s been 13 games now. My wife told me a sweet story today. She said you had all the prices except mom. This award is special today. From the team’s point of view, the blow was important, and this trophy is for her,” Suryakumar said during the post-match presentation.
“She expects such moments, and we are obviously celebrating them, looking forward to her. It was important for a single striker to beat until the end. We knew there was a counter 15-20 points somewhere, so we had to wait for the end,” he added.
Chasing 181, Delhi Capitals, who was without regular Axar Patel skipper in this match, rolled for 121 in 18.2 Overs, Sameer Rizvi (39) being the top scorer.
Mitchell Santner was the choice of the quisors of the Indians of Mumbai, returning 4-0-11-3 and counting Rizvi, Vipraj Nigam (20) and Ashutosh Sharma (18). Jasprit Bumrah experienced another successful outing on his return to 3.2-0-12-3.
