Yami Gautam walks into the Supreme Court in first poster of HAQ; teaser to release on September 23, 2025 : Bollywood News
Junglee Pictures, in association with Insomnia Films and Baweja Studios, published today the first Teaser poster for their highly anticipated film, Haq. The poster presents a powerful and evocative image, with an imminent promise of a pre-tension unit arriving later in the day, and the official teaser that comes out tomorrow.

The poster itself is a work of art, with a grainy and vintage aesthetic. In the center is Yami Gautam Dhar as head, seen from behind, resolutely walking towards an imposing judicial building which seems to be the Supreme Court of India. She is draped in a shawl and holding a file near her chest, her posture suggesting a woman in a journey determined for justice. The names of the main actors, Yami Gautam Dhar and Emraan Hashmi, are displayed in a good place at the top, with the title of the film, Haqwhich translates into “right”. The poster is supplemented by a powerful slogan at the bottom which reads as follows: “Who will do justice – the community or the law?”
This drama in the courtroom, directed by SUPARN S VARMA, is not only another film. It is based on a historical legal affair which rocked the nation: the Shah Bano affair against Ahmed Khan of 1985. The film plunges into the complexities of this real legal battle, which was focused on the struggle of a divorced Muslim woman for the maintenance of her husband under section 125 of the CRPC. The film promises to be a punchy story that examines the crucial themes of personal law, gender rights and secularism.
According to statements, Emraan Hashmi will represent a net but morally conflictual lawyer, a role that was inspired by the husband in the case, Ahmed Khan. Meanwhile, Yami Gautam, who previously impressed the public by his role in the success of criticism and commercial success Article 370assumes the difficult role of women at the heart of legal struggle.
The film has discreetly completed its shooting and is currently in the post-production phase.
