The cinemas of New York, the chain of theaters known for a pleasant decor, a superior sound and an image quality, comfortable seats and reasonable prices which is managed by the superstar Ajay Devgn, undergoes a change of name. It appeared that it will now be called Devgn Cinex.

The information was revealed by Gaurav Mishra on X (formerly Twitter). Gaurav worked in New York cinemas from March 2019 to July 2025. He added that the new logo of the theater channel will soon be unveiled. He also said that Ny Cinemas had merged with the Vishwa Samudra group (VS).

According to the official website, the Vishwa Samudra group, a business power based in Hyderabad, is one of India’s conglomerates with the fastest growth. With more than 25 companies under its umbrella, the group began its trip to the port of Krishnapatnam and today has a global footprint covering Singapore, the United States, the United Arab Emirates, France, Germany, Maldives, Guyana, etc. Its diversified interests cover infrastructure, security, engineering, construction, logistics, maritime services and maritime services.
