Speculations around the exit of Diljit Dosanjh from No entry 2 were put to rest while producer Boney Kapoor confirmed that the actor-singer was no longer part of the long-awaited suite. The news occurs after days of conjecture connecting his departure to creative differences and the controversy of the casting around his recent film Sardaar Ji 3.

In a conversation with NDTV, Kapoor said that reason was purely logistical. “Yes, we separated in a good mood because the dates did not align themselves with our requirements; I hope that we will soon make a Punjabi film,” he said.
Diljit, who was initially announced as one of the three tracks alongside Varun Dhawan and Arjun Kapoor, faced a crowded calendar that overlaps with No entry 2production chronology.
