“Disappointing”: PV Sindhu’s Blunt Admission After Loss In Quarterfinals Of India Open

After conceding a quarter -final defeat at the Open India in progress in 2025, the best PV Sindhu shuttle has committed to coming back stronger. Satwiksairaj Rankireddy and Chirag Shetty Stayed on Race for their second Consecration India Open Final With A Straight Games Win Over Korea’s Yong Jin and Kang Min Hyuk in the Men’s Double Quarterfinals While Pv Sindhu and Kiran George Were Knocked Out Of The Bwf World Tour Super Super 750 Event at the KD Jadhav Indoor Hall on Friday.

Addressing journalists, the Sindhu PV said that it was a sad moment for her to lose the match after fighting until the third set.

“Overall, I think it was the game of anyone … It is sad that I lost in the third set after fighting so hard … I have to come back stronger … It’s disappointing,” Sindhu told journalists.

There were a lot of positive points to bring home for Sindhu. The 29 -year -old woman, who had trouble with injuries from the Paris Olympic Games, fought with her movement in the opening match, but led her opponent’s fight once she found her range.

By dragging 3-9 in the second match, Sindhu started to push Tunjung on the back of the field, canceling the sharpness of the quick slice of Indonesia slices and keeping the shuttle long enough to force a mistake by his opponent.

She caught up with Tunjung at 9-9 and although the two players stayed in the shoulder afterwards, Sindhu managed to take the match in a decision-maker by forcing the fourth seeded to take more risks to try to win points.

The former champion continued with the same strategy in the decision-maker and it seemed that she could stimulate an upheaval with the two players locked up at 17-17. A brilliant game of Tunjung and a bad judgment of Sindhu ended up deciding the fate of the match which lasted an hour and two minutes.

Speaking to journalists, Chirag Shetty said that he and his partner Satwiksairaj made all firearms in the match on Friday. Chirag added that they exerted pressure on the opponents.

“We went to all firearms. In the end, they (the opponents) were able to defend the blows … We never really wanted them to come back in the game … Our strongest point was to put them under pressure …”, told journalists.

Addressing journalists, Satwiksairaj Rankireddy said they still controlled the match.

“We knew that if we continue to express pressure on them, they will not be able to support … We have always checked the match … We were very positive from the start of the match …”, told journalists Satwiksairaj.

It was the association of Satwik and Chirag that gave the major crowd to the KD Jadhav Hall enough to celebrate as they played an almost clinical match against the Koreans, who had turned the heads of series and the world no. 1 Kim Astrup and Anders Skaarup Rasmussen in the first round.

The gold medalists of Asian matches ran to an advance of 9-1 in the opening match, then checked the debates to pocket the match in 18 minutes. Koreas organized a stronger fight in the second match that the Indians were hardly under pressure.

In the semi-finals, they will face the third seeds Sze Fei Goh and Nur Izzuddin d’In Indonesia.
