According to reports, Hashmi will be joined by Disha Patani, the duo planned to start shooting the film in Bangkok in the coming days.

According to Pinkvilla, a source shared: “Awarapan 2 should start filming this week in Bangkok with leads Emraan Hashmi and Disha Patani. The duo, as well as the rest of the distribution, will be based in Bangkok for a month. It is an intense schedule, with more than 50% of the film shot there. The source also mentioned that manufacturers intend to film entirely in real places.
The portal also reported that the producers would go everything with the music album. A source said: “Music has always been a vital part of the Awarapan The franchise and the suite will be up to the expectations of the fans. After the 30 -day calendar in Bangkok, the team will come together in Mumbai for the next step. The plan is to complete the shooting by January 2026. ”
The source added: “The entire shooting was structured to respect the output deadline. Manufacturers have locked a lucrative vacation version and intend to stick to it. Emraan Hashmi is delighted to resume his role as Shivam, while Disha is impatient to enter the world of this intense romantic saga. ” The film is confirmed to be released in theaters on April 3, 2026.
The day of his birthday, Emraan Hashmi officially announced the rest of his highly appreciated romantic drama from 2007 Awarapan. The teaser presents his emblematic character, standing on a boat while the sun sets behind the city roofs. In a striking moment, he was seen release a bird from a cage, while telling: “Kisi Aur Ki Zindagi Ke Liye Marna Hi Meri Manzil Hai.”
The teaser ends with the text, “Awarapan 2, The journey continues ”, while the song Tera Mera Rishta Original film plays in the background. Sharing the clip, Emraan confirmed that the rest will be released in theaters on April 3, 2026, writing in the legend: “Bas Mujhe Kuch Aur der Zinda Rakh … #Awarapan2 In the cinemas, April 3, 2026. #Awarapan2. “”
