Drishyam (2015) was a box office success, and over the years it has developed a cult following. This gave rise to a fabulous opening for Drishyam 2 (2022), shocking commerce and industry. With the film becoming a blockbuster, all eyes are now on Drishyam 3. It is scheduled to release on October 2, 2026 and the film was recently in the news after it was reported that Paresh Rawal might be part of the cast.

However, it turns out the veteran actor hasn’t signed Drishyam 3. Bollywood Hungama spoke to him exclusively recently and when asked if he had bagged a role in the thriller as speculated, he replied, “No, I haven’t. There is no truth in these reports.”
He was offered a role in Drishyam 3? Paresh Rawal said, “Yes, the makers contacted me. But I didn’t think the rule suited me. Maza nahin aaya (reading my role).
Paresh Rawal added, “But the script is very good. I was really impressed. But even in a compelling script, you need a role that excites you. Warna maza nahin aayega.”
This writer then reminded him of his latest publication, Thamma. His performance as a father who suspects his son has developed “punch machine-type teeth” was well received. Paresh Rawal smiled and said, “Yes, I heard everything is going well. » He also revealed that “I am in Ahmedabad”, perhaps indicating that he has not seen the film yet.
