EXCLUSIVE: PVR Inox Pictures to distribute Sitaare Zameen Par; Aamir Khan-starrer’s trailer expected to play in their cinemas from May 1 : Bollywood News
After more than 2 and a half years, Aamir Khan will finally be seen in the cinemas this year with Sitaare Zameen by. The film was constantly in the news on its various speculations on its release date, the launch of the trailer, etc. Bollywood Hungama Now learned that AMIR already has a distributor on board – PVR stainless steel Pictures.

A source told Bollywood Hungama“Aamir has a very long association with the PVR stainless steel team. On the occasion of its 60th anniversary on March 14, the PVR Inox exhibition branch organized a film festival through their properties in the country and presented some of its best films. A week before this celebration, Aamir Khan had an interesting conversation with Javed Akhtar. Sitaare Zameen by is a spiritual sequence of Taare Zameen by (2007), which also had a PVR connection. It was supported by the PVR images then and co -produced by Sanjeev Kumar Bijli and Ajay Bijli with Aamir Khan Productions. Therefore, it is a case of life that loops the loop.
The source continued: “If everything is going well, Aamir Khan will launch the trailer for Sitaare Zameen by digitally on Wednesday April 30. You can expect to experience it on the big screen from May 1. PVR Inox plans to show promo in all their cinemas across the country with new outings as Raid 2, Thunderbolts, Bhootnii etc.”
In accordance with recent reports, the trailer for Sitaare Zameen by is 3 minutes and 29 seconds and was passed with a U / A certificate by the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC). The reports also suggest that the film should be released in cinemas on June 20.
Sitaare Zameen by is led by RS Prasanna to Shubh mangal saavdhan (2017) Fame and also features Genelia Deshmukh. Speaking of PVR stainless steel Pictures, they have distributed several important films in recent times as Bholaa (2023), Raniganj mission (2023), Article 370 (2024), Baden Miyan Chote Miyan (2024), Stone 2 (2024), Singham again (2024), Baby John (2024), Strength of the sky (2025) etc.
