Asian Games Medallist Narender Berwal To Lead India At World Boxing Cup In Brazil

The bronze medalist for Asian games, Narender Berwal, will be at the head of an Indian male boxing team of 10 members at the first world boxing cup in Foz Do Iguacu, Brazil, starting on Monday. This tournament marks the first event organized by world boxing since it received provisional recognition from the Olympic International Committee in February and the inclusion of boxing at the Los Angeles Olympic Games in 2028. Competitions will take place for men and women, but India has only sent male boxers, such as the national female championships were only ended on Thursday.
