Producer Firoz Nadiadwala has unveiled plans for a cinematic family universe, bringing together, prequelles and new editions of some of the most popular franchises in Bollywood. Addressing midday, Nadiadwala said: “There are cops, horror and spy, but after years of work, we have created a universe of all genres for the family public. We will do AAN: Men at work [2004],, Awara Paagal Deewana,, Deewane Huye Paagal [2005]and new editions of To welcome And Hera Pheri franchise.”

He also added: “We will also have new films. All films will be clean and larger than life. This is why I call it “the universe of the family”, which will make new older players and crossed characters. ” Fans can expect familiar faces of classic films, alongside new talents, with crossed characters linked to the universe together.
This development comes a few days after Nadiadwala sent a legal opinion to the Netflix streaming giant on the unauthorized alleged use of Baburao Ganpatrao Apt, the emblematic character immortalized by Paresh Rawal.
Representative Nadiadwala, lawyer Sana Raees Khan published a statement emphasizing the gravity of the alleged offense: “Intellectual property is not a question of occasional loan, it is the vital force of creativity. It is in the legislation either fresh. protected. “”
While Nadiadwala himself did not publicly comment on the Netflix dispute, this decision underlines his intention to protect the heritage of the series of cult comedy. Baburao de Paresh Rawal, alongside Akshay Kumar as Raju and Suniel Shetty as a shyam, remains one of the most expensive comic strips in Bollywood, with Hera Pheri (2000) and Phir Hera Pheri (2006) continue to take advantage of the cult status among the public.
