Harshvardhan Rane-Sonam Bajwa’s film shifts production from Vikir Films to Play DMF : Bollywood News

The highly anticipated romantic drama featuring Harshvardhan Rane and Sonam Bajwa suffered a major backstage – the film has officially moved production houses. Initially announced in Vikir’s films, the project will now be headed by Play DMF, the production company led by Anshul Garg.

This transition marks a significant change in the travel of the film. Under Vikir Films, the film had gained ground with its first teaser and its working title Deewaniyat. However, creative differences and strategic orientation prompted the team to move forward under a new banner. ASHUL GARG, a power name in musical and digital space, now takes control of creation and production under the DMF.

The initiates of the industry claim that the change in leadership should inject new energy and a new vision into the project. The entrance to ASHUL GARG also aligns the film with its growing portfolio of stories centered on young people and rich emotionally. With a new management, the team rework certain elements of history and presentation to better align with the sensitivity of Play DMF.

This decision also had an impact on other aspects of the project – including its title and its exit calendar – which are both reconsidered under the new banner.
