“He Always Wanted To Score Runs In Bengaluru”: Dinesh Karthik On Devdutt Padikkal

The Royal Challengers Bengaluru Mentor (RCB) and the shore coach Dinesh Karthik praised the RCB Devdutt Padikkal striker to make a difference for the team. In a video published by RCB on X, he spoke of Padikkal’s desire to perform well in front of the crowd of Bengaluru, having missed the opportunity to do so during his two previous seasons with RCB. “Dev has changed this season. It is beauty. He came by saying, DK, I want to make a difference for this team. I always wanted to do well in the field at home. The two years he played for RCB, unfortunately, he could not play Bengaluru. So he wanted to come here, play in front of a crowd of Bengaluru and show them what he did.
Karthik praised Padikkal’s hard work, underlined his belief in himself and the coach’s advice. He admired the dedication of Padikkal, from pre-match preparation to stick performance, and believed that Bengaluru should be proud of its development.
“It means a lot for him. He is a special child. But the way he worked hard, is a hat. He is preparing before hitting, then when he enters. He was a revelation and I think Bangalore should be very proud of him,” he added.
Until now, in eight matches in the first Indian League in progress, the RCB DEVDUTT PADIKKAL striker has performed 230 points, with an average of 32.86 and two fifties. Compared to the last IPL season, it improved its typing rate from 71.70 to 150.
