Hera Pheri 3 Row: “Paresh Rawal was never given script”, reveals his legal team : Bollywood News
The in progress controversy surrounding Hera Pheri 3 took a new turn with the legal team of the veteran actor Paresh Rawal who is addressed against him. In a conversation with Times of India, Rawal’s lawyer said that the actor has never been presented with a script or substantial content of the team working under the production banner of Akshay Kumar.

Rawal’s legal team also questioned the reasons on which the production house claims losses when, according to them, no equipment – script or agreement – was in place in the first place. According to recent reports, a legal opinion was sent to Akshay Kumar, Priyadarshan, Suniel Shetty and Paresh Rawal by none other than the original producer – Firoz Nadiadwala. The opinion prohibits all four to participate in all promotions, mentions or activities related to Hera Pheri franchise. He also said that the procedure with such activities will be considered a voluntary violation, claiming that intellectual property rights (IP) on all characters, including Babu Bhaiya, set up with Nadiadwala.
Sources close to the actor also revealed that Kshay Kumar had assured Rawal, saying, “Don’t worry, believe me. You will see it later in the long -form agreement. ” Based on this insurance and its long -standing relationships with Kumar, Paresh Rawal should have signed the file in good faith. Promo for Hera Pheri 3 was finally turned on a modified version of Bhooth Bangla together. However, it was initially intended for a departure in 2026, and Rawal had suggested postponing promotional shoot the following year. Currently, the actor has not received any long -term agreement, script or formal production information, added sources.
Reports also suggest that the actor has a deeply rooted link with the beloved character of Baburao Ganpatrao Apt, popularly known as Babu Bhaiya, and therefore asked for clarity before continuing the project.
The actor’s legal team told Times of India: “Admittedly, they did not give history, the scenario and also a project of a long -form agreement which was fundamental to our client’s commitment. In the absence of these and also since Mr. Nadiadwala, the producer of the original films, issued our client and raised questions about the production of the film, our client chose to release and brought the customer with the interest with the staging.
With legal tensions and blame games, the fate of Hera Pheri 3 remains uncertain.
