India Guaranteed 43 Medals At Asian U-15, U-17 Boxing Championships

Four other pugilists qualified for the semi-finals, because India was guaranteed for a 43 medal journey in the Asian and U-17 inaugural boxing championships in Amman, Jordan. India is assured of at least 25 medals in the U-5 category while 18 others should be won in the U-17 section, because all the semi-finalists are allocated bronze medals. Aman Siwach (63 kg) and Devansh (80 kg) led the U-17 boys section, both securing the referee competition (RSC) wins the opponents of the Philippines and Jordan in the last group of combat of quarter-finals.
In the girls’ division, Simranjeet Kaur (60 kg) posted a 5-0 victory against Aya Alhasat de Jordan, while Himanshi (70 kg) ended his fight in the very first round with an RSC against Farah Abu Layla de Palestine.
