The India Boxing Federation (BFI) announced Tuesday that India has obtained accommodation rights for the prestigious 2025 world boxing cup and the World Boxing Congress 2025, scheduled for November 2025. This achievement made under the world’s world events. The World Boxing Cup Final 2025 is a highly anticipated classification tournament that marks the culmination of three world cups that were held earlier in the year. This elite event will bring together the best boxers in the world to compete for the best honors, will solidify their global ranking and leave an indelible brand on sport.

Simultaneously, the World Boxing Congress 2025 will bring together stakeholders, civil servants and dignitaries of the world boxing community. The congress will serve as a platform to discuss critical developments, strategies and the future roadmap for sport.

BFI president Ajay Singh said that organizing such prestigious events is a moment of pride for India.

“It is a moment of pride for India to be recognized by global boxing for the reception of these prestigious events. This opportunity not only highlights the organizational excellence of India, but also underlines our unshakable commitment to guarantee boxing remains an integral part of the Olympic movement. We are honored to contribute to the inheritance of sport and are looking forward to welcoming the global community of India in 2025” in a declaration published by the BFI.

The accommodation of these events should inspire budding athletes, draw worldwide attention to Indian boxing and strengthen India’s position as a power plant in the field of international boxing.

The Boxing Federation of India is fully committed to providing a memorable and impactful experience for athletes, officials and fans around the world. Preparations are already underway to ensure that the Boxing Cup final and the World Boxing Congress 2025 have established new references to host international sporting events in the country.
