The IPL 2025 match between the Kings of Punjab and the Super Kings of Chennai turned out to be a racing festival while the two teams violated the 200 -point brand in Mullanpur. By opting to beat first, PBKS posted a huge total of 219/6 with the young Opener Priyansh Arya breaking a 103 points on only 42 bullets. Later in the pursuit, CSK fought until the last delivery, but could only manage 201 points and lost the 18 -point match. In addition to being a high score business, this match has also proven to be a disaster in terms of implementation.
Up to eight catches have been abandoned throughout the match, which left the former versatile India Irfan Pathan Fuming. By taking to X (formerly Twitter), Irfan took a jibe at IPL by mentioning the Legends League.
“8 Drop catch in the match today. Itne at Legend League Mein Nahi Chorte Bhai (we don’t leave much, even in legends),” wrote Pathan on X.

These field errors have proven costly for the two teams, because CSK conceded 219 races while PBKS could have won the victory in a very dominant way if they had taken all the captures in time.
“I think that the last four games, the only difference (the field being the difference). This was critical. The captures we have lowered, the same drummer mark 15, 20, 30 races,” said skipper CSK Ruturaj Gaikwad after defeat.
“We obtained counters at regular intervals, but they kept the momentum. Added.
With the victory against CSK, PBKS returned to the winning tracks while they lost their previous match against the Royals of Rajasthan. Meanwhile, it was the fourth consecutive defeat for the five -time champions, who have difficulties in the ninth place in the table of points with a victory in five games.
