Later in the pursuit, CSK fought until the last delivery, but could only manage 201 points and lost the 18 -point match. These field errors have proven costly for the two teams, because CSK conceded 219 races while PBKS could have won the victory in a very dominant way if they had taken all the captures in time.
“I think that the last four games, the only difference (the field being the difference). This was critical. The captures we have lowered, the same drummer mark 15, 20, 30 races,” said skipper CSK Ruturaj Gaikwad after defeat.
