The drummer of the Mumbai Indians, Rohit Sharma, is well known for his camaraderie with young talents – both in the Indian Cricket team as well as for IPL. Rohit is often seen by assuming the figure of mentor and guiding young people with regard to their striker. In a video published by Lucknow Super Giants on social networks, the veteran cricket player was seen having a conversation with the 23 -year -old striker Abdul Samad. Rohit explained that the striker finally comes down to his technique and said that, whatever his talent and his capacity, each striker needs to find the technique that suits them best.

“Strike it either on this leg or on this leg. You know why I say that, it is because each window has a pace. It is different every day, today humidity is more so there will be humidity, if it is less humid and more windy than the land is better to continue. You will not have this knowledge before the start of the match.”

Rohit continued by explaining that what works for him may not work for a striker like Samad and that is why, it is extremely important not to copy someone and develop your own typing style.

“Whatever ability you have, whatever the talent, whatever the technique, some things do not work without technique, let’s accept this,” said Rohit.

“”You die I have Nahin Khel Sakta, Mein Tere I Jaisa Nahin Khel Sakta. Tera apna ek talent hai (You can’t play like me, I can’t play like you, you have your own talent,) “he added.” If I will copy you or if you try to copy me, or if I will copy its technique or technique, life will pass at that time. “”

The Mumbai Indians seek to continue their winning momentum as they face Lucknow’s Super Giants during an IPL 2025 meeting on Sunday which could have huge implications for the race for the playoffs.
