Kajal Aggarwal joins cast of Ramayana as Ravana’s wife Mandodari opposite Yash: Report : Bollywood News
Recent reports reveal that Kajal Aggarwal may have officially joined the cast of RamayanaThe long -awaited mythological epic led by Nitesh Tiwari. The actress would be seen describing the role of Mandodari, the noble and wise queen who is the first wife of Ravana – a role tried by the superstar of Kannada Yash in the film. If this is true, it will be the first time that Kajal and Yash will be seen to share the wallpaper.

A source confirmed the casting of Kajal to Etimes, declaring: “Kajal has just done his look test last week, and will play the character of Mandodari in front of Yash. She started to shoot for the little recently. Manufacturers are currently shooting on the songs by Lanka de Ravana. ”
Mandodari, a less explored but significant figure in the Ramayanais often described as a deeply intelligent and virtuous woman. According to the original epic, it is known for its wisdom, its devotion and its moral compass, which contrasts with the possible fall of Ravana. His presence in the story often serves as a voice of reason in Lanka, urging peace and justice.
The addition of Kajal to the distribution adds another layer of gravity to the already starred project. Previous reports had suggested that actress Sakshi Tanwar, who had previously collaborated with Tiwari in the acclaimed by criticism Dangerouswas considered the role. However, the manufacturers have now locked Kajal for the game, and the actress has already started filming for her portions.
Directed by Nitesh Tiwari, Ramayana should be a saga of several parts based on the old Indian epic.
