Chennai Super Kings’ stand-in skipper (CSK), MS Dhoni, put the chronometer in the match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 against Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) on Monday, producing a late blitz to shoot the team to its second victory of the season. Dhoni’s bat was breathing in the fire, marking 26 points out of only 11 bullets while CSK pursued the goal of 169 points in a last thriller. With the kind authorization of its fireworks at the Bharat Ratna Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Cricket Stadium in Lucknow, Dhoni was appointed player of the match. Although the “thala” does not quite agree with the decision of the organizers, the price helped him beat a record of all time in the history of the IPL.

Tambe held Numero Uno’s place until Monday, won the 2014 game player prize against KKR at the age of 42 and 208 days. He set the record by playing for the Royals of Rajasthan.
Dhoni, reflecting on the team’s victory, said that he expects his shot unit to work better in the next games if CSK comes out of the rut in which they are currently.
“As a bowling, we have done well. As a unit of strikers, we can do better. Roles and responsibilities-that’s what we are talking about. If you are getting well today. Ability to dominate with authentic photos,” he said.
