After the generalized game on the cast of the Pakistani actress Hania Aamir Sardaar Ji 3Producer Gunbir Singh Sidhu broke his silence. In a statement to India today, Sidhu has clarified the production calendar and confirmed that the film will not see a cinema release in India.

“The film was shot before the conflict with Pakistan. Keeping in mind the feelings of the Indians, there will be no release in India for the film,” said Sidhu, referring to the growing tensions after the recent terrorist attack of Pahalgam in Jammu-et-Cachemire, which has cost the life of Indian soldiers and civilians.
The announcement comes after criticism on social networks and information platforms, where users have questioned the inclusion of a Pakistani actor in an Indian production for a sensitive period. Hania Aamir, a popular name in the Pakistani entertainment industry, has made a brief appearance in the trailer for Sardaar Ji 3 Alongside the Lead Diljit Dosanjh star. Its presence sparked debates on cultural collaboration in time of geopolitical tension.
From now on, Sardaar Ji 3 should be released in international markets, excluding India. The production house and Diljit Dosanjh have not both published declarations on the issue.
