Actor Ali Fazal should make his debut in the cinema in southern India in the next film by Man Ratnam Thug life. With Kamal Haasan in mind, the film brings together a distribution of actors from the Hindi and southern Industry industries. It is planned for a theatrical release on June 5 in Tamil, Hindi, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada.

Marking a new pivotal chapter of his versatile career, Ali Fazal revealed that he had not taken him more than a second to say yes to the project.
“There are calls you make in your life you know instantly to change the course of your trip – it was one of them,” said Ali. “When you hear the name Mani Ratnam, you don’t just think of the cinema – you think of the heritage, you think of the transcendent, timeless and deeply rooted narration in human emotion. I didn’t have to think for a moment before saying yes to Thug life. A Mani Ratnam film is not something that you are offered every day, and certainly not alongside someone as emblematic as Kamal Haasan. The fact that this project brings together talents through the Indian film industries in several languages makes it even more special.
