Bangladesh To Tour Pakistan For T20Is In May; Faisalabad To Host After 17 years

On Wednesday, Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) confirmed that Bangladesh will go to the country next month for a T20I series of five games where Faisalabad will host international matches after a long gap of 17 years. Bangladesh had visited Pakistan last year for a two test series which was part of the World CPI test championship and returned victorious at home, winning 2-0. The series of planned white balls, which is part of the future program tour (FTP), originally consisted of three ODI and three T20is. The PCB said that with the Male T20 World Cup of the ICC planned for next year, the two advice has agreed to replace the ODI with two additional T20i.
The T20I series of five games will be played in Faisalabad and Lahore from May 25 to June 3.
It is the first time since April 2008 that an international match will be organized at Stade Iqbal in Faisalabad where 24 test games have been played in the past.
The PCB organized several national tournaments on the site, including the Cup of an inaugural champions day in September of last year and the National T20 CUP last month.
The first and second T20is of the series, scheduled for May 25 and 27, will be held at Stade Iqbal.
The Gaddafi stadium of Lahore will welcome the three remaining T20is, scheduled for May 30, June 1 and 3.
The Bangladesh team will arrive on May 21 and will undergo training sessions at Stade Iqbal from May 22 to 24.

May 21 – Arrival of the male team of Bangladesh May 25 – First T20i at Stade Iqbal, Faisalabad (8 p.m. local time) May 27 – Second T20i at Stade Iqbal, Faithbad (8:00 p.m.) May 30. Local time) June 3 – Fifth T20i at the Gaddafi stadium, Lahore (8 p.m. local time).
