KL Rahul Shatters Virat Kohli’s Record To Achieve Never-Done-Before T20 Feat

KL Rahul broke the record for Virat Kohli to become the fastest Indian striker to score 8000 points in the T20 cricket. Rahul reached the astonishing step during the 2025 IPL meeting between the Capitals of Delhi and the Titans of Gujarat on Sunday. The record previously belonged to Kohli who slammed 8,000 points in 243 rounds. However, Rahul succeeded in the feat in just 224 rounds and, in doing so, he became the first Indian striker to score 8000 points T20 in less than 230 sleeves. Overall, Chris Gayle is at the top of the list with 213 rounds while Babar Azam is second with 218 rounds. Rahul is currently third on the elite list.
