BCCI Central Contracts 2024-25: Full List Of Players Promoted, Demoted And Axed

The Cricket Control Council in India (BCCI) announced on Monday the annual restraint contracts in 4 categories for Indian players. The Test of India and the captain of the Odi Rohit Sharma and the Talisman of striker Virat Kohli retained their place in the A +support, while the duo previously ax of Shreyas Iyer and Ishan Kishan returned to the fold of the list, composed of a total of 34 players between the categories. Note A, which commands RS 7 Croire annual restraint costs, also includes Ravi Jadeja and Pace spearhead of Jasprit Bumrah, just like in recent years.
The India Champions Trophy, the hero Iyer, was a notable return to the list, inducted in group B, which is delivered with an annual remuneration of RS 3 crores.
Iyer was abandoned last season for having pretended to ignore domestic cricket for IPL. The Guiche-Strong Guicher Ishan Kishan. Abandoned for the same reason, has also returned to category C, which is worth RS 1 crosses per year.
The players promoted or submitted a contract for the first time:
- Rishabh pant (grade B to grade a)
- Shreyas Iyer (none of grade B, but was one of the BCCI contracts before the 2023-24 season)
- Ishan Kishan (none of grade C, but was one of the BCCI contracts before the 2023-24 season)
- Sarfaraz Khan (none to grade c)
- Nitish Kumar Reddy (none of grade C)
- Abhishek Sharma (none to grade C)
- Akash Deep (none to grade C)
- Varun chakaravarthy (none to grade c)
- Harshit Rana (none of grade C)
The players have demoted or chopped:
- Shardul Thakur (from grade c for nothing)
- Jiteh Sharma (from grade c for nothing)
- Ks bharat (from grade c to nothing)
- Avesh khan (from grade c for nothing)
Rishabh Pant, which was demoted to group B during the 2023-24 season, because it did not do so because of its restoration of a fatal accident, is back in category A in place of Ravichandran Ashwin. Category A is delivered with an RS 5 mandate crosses per year.
Category C presents the maximum number of players, 19 in all, with four new entrants in Harshit Rana, Varun Chakravarthy, Abhishek Sharma and Nitish Kumar Reddy.
