This film marks the third episode of the “files” trilogy from Agnihtrotri, after Tashkent files (2019) and Cashmere files (2022). The upcoming film plunges into community violence in individual Bengal in the 1940s, focusing in particular on events like Direct Action Day and Noakhali riots. Despite the challenges encountered during production, including security problems that led to filming in Mumbai instead of Kolkata, Agnihotri and his team have completed the project and should share this important story with the public nationally.
