Sameer Nair’s Applause Entertainment joins hands with Amar Chitra Katha for ‘ApplaToon’ : Bollywood News
Applause Entertainment announced the launch of its dedicated children’s animation channel, Applatoon, exclusively on Youtube. Created for young minds, Applatoon begins with its first original animated series Kiya & Kayaan, based on the popular Amar Katha Junior Library. The manufacturers have released the official trailer today, offering a first overview of the magical world of the show. The series will be presented on April 25 on the Applatoon YouTube channel.

Intended for children aged 4 to 8, Kiya & Kayaan follows the adventures of two imaginative brothers and sisters who come across VR helmets that take them to Storyland, a bewitching world built on emblematic stories of Indian mythology and folklore. As they travel through fantastic kingdoms, they meet an ancient wisdom, mythical beings and exciting quests, while discovering the values of curiosity, courage and compassion.
Applause Entertainment, in a historical partnership with Amar Chitra Katha, has acquired the right to adapt more than 400 emblematic stories of its famous comic strip.
