Rohit Sharma Wasn’t Informed About Abhishek Nayar’s Sacking By BCCI, Team Management Divided: Report

The ODI of India and the test skipper and the opener of the Mumbai Indians, Rohit Sharma, recently overcome a lean patch and returned to the form in the current IPL. After having recorded consecutive poor scores, Rohit finally hammered 76 * 45 undefeated bullets and helped Mi to ensure a carrier of nine against the super kings of Chennai, rivals of the ark, at the Wankhede stadium. As the whole nation was amazed by the winning blow of Rohit, his Instagram post for assistant coach recently crowned by Team India, Abhishek Nayar, drew everyone’s attention.
Nayar, who was associated with the Indian Cricket team as an assistant coach since the eight months, was dismissed by the BCCI last week. The team of bad performance of India at the Border Gavaskar trophy is considered a reason behind the dismissal of Nayar.
After the victory against CSK, Rohit went to Instagram and shared a photo on his story, as well as a legend who said: “Thank you, Abhishek Nayar!”
According to a report of DAINIK JagranRohit was not confident by the BCCI before Nayar’s dismissal, although he was consulted during the appointment of Nayar. The report continued to assert that Rohit’s post clearly shows that all members of the Indian team management are not on the same wavelength regarding the dismissal of Nayar.
“The entry of Abhishek into the Indian team support staff was carried out with the consent of Rohit, but Rohit was not consulted before removing it,” said the report.
The report also indicated that after debacle 1-3 of India at the Border-Gavaskar trophy, an exam meeting took place. However, the action against coach staff was not taken at the time because the Champions Trophy was at the corner of the street. As the Indian team is currently playing international cricket due to the IPL, the BCCI took action last week.
During the meeting, a member of the management of the team had raised the complaint concerning the cats of the locker room disclosed to the media.
With Nayar, coach T Dilip and coach Soham Desai also showed the door, but the last two were withdrawn while their mandate ended. Jagran’s report also said that a member of the Indian team management had raised questions about Nayar’s credibility.
“A member of the management of the team asked:” If Nayar was so reliable, then why the management added Sitanshu Kotak as a stick trainer in the series in England in January? Even Rohit agreed to involve Kotak on board “,” said the report.
Sitanshu Kotak was appointed Indian strike coach during the series of white balls against England in January.
He even called into question Nayar’s work as a KKR assistant coach by declaring that the Kolkata -based franchise only won titles under Gautam Gambir.
In particular, Nayar worked with KKR from 2019 to 2024 and joined the defending champions as an assistant coach after his dismissal by the BCCI.
