Pahalgam Terrorist Attack: Pakistan Super League Broadcast Stopped In India By Fancode

A few days after Pahalgam’s terrorist attack, which claimed the live of 26 civilians, the live streaming platform Fancode deleted all the contents of Pakistan Super League (PSL) of its website. The broadcaster was one of the platforms officially broadcasting PSL matches in India. He transmitted the first 13 games of the Pakistani Super League, where all the best members of the Pakistani cricket team as playing. Several reports said the decision was made on Friday. Friday morning, all the PSL content on the platform led to an “error” page, then no contents of the PSL was available on the platform.

Earlier, Fancode was criticized by certain social media users for having broadcast the PSL.

Crawling its response after the five measures announced on Wednesday, India revoked all the visas delivered to Pakistani nationals – including medical visas – and the suspended visa services for the Pakistani following the vile terrorist attack in Pahalgam, during which 26 people were killed.

In a statement published Thursday, the Ministry of External Affairs said that all the existing valid visas issued to Pakistani nationals would be revoked with effect on Sunday, April 27. All the medical visas issued to the citizens of this country will not also be valid on Tuesday, April 29, added, adding that all the Pakistanis currently in India should not leave before the expiration of these revised timelines.

Most of the Pakistani people who have received Indian visas will therefore have 72 hours to leave the country.

Visa services to Pakistani nationals will also be suspended, which means that residents of the country will not have documents to travel to India.

“It is strongly advised Indian nationals to avoid traveling to Pakistan. Indian nationals currently in Pakistan are also invited to return to India as soon as possible,” the Ministry of External Affairs said.

The new measures occurred one day after India announced a series of measures arrived at a meeting of the Committee on Security – the largest decision -making body of the country on security issues – chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi
