Kritika Kamra wraps up shoot for Anusha Rizvi’s female-led drama in Delhi : Bollywood News
After completing the work on Matka King, actor Kritika Kamra has now completed his next project – a length of feature film produced by Live peepli Filmmaker Anusha Rizvi. The film still as a fully shot in Delhi, presents a female predominance distribution, with Kritika in the central role.

The film also features the veteran actor Farida Jalal with Juhi Babbar and Shreya Dhanwanthary in important parts. Known to make socially resonant accounts with a unique voice, Rizvi returns to the director’s chair with this story focused on the whole that mixes drama and light humor.
This project marks a significant step in the cinematographic career of Kritika Kamra, following a series of performances noted in a critical manner in digital series and its next role in Matka King. The film offers him a chance to make the headlines centered on female experiences, supported by a seasoned and diverse casting.
“The shooting in Delhi brought an authenticity to the film which would have been difficult to reproduce elsewhere. Kritika, Juhi and Shreya brought an incredible energy to the set, and the vision of Anusha for this project is both daring and refreshing,” said a source close to production and added, “this film is a female drama and comedy and comedy elements.
Anusha Rizvi made her director debut with Live peepli (2010), who received critical praise for his satirical media and rural distress point of view. His latest project seems to continue his interest in socially relevant narration, this time through a lens focused on women with lighter and humorous shades.
The main photography now finished, the film entered post-production. More details, including the title title and release date, should be announced in the coming months. The project is added to the growing list of stories led by women emerging in Indian cinema and is likely to arouse its interest in its set of overall plans and its solid support as director.
