In the wake of the tragedy, the Federation of Western India (FWICE) has reissued its 2019 directive prohibiting all Pakistani artists and technicians to participate in Indian entertainment projects. In a strongly written statement, FWICE said a “general boycott on all Pakistani artists, singers and technicians participating in Indian film or entertainment projects”. FWICE underlined the disciplinary consequences for any member or affiliate – whether actors, directors, producers or technicians – who pursue collaborations with Pakistani nationals. “The nation comes first – still. According to a report by NDTV, the sources within the Ministry of Information and Radio has suggested that several cinema channels did not want to project the film.
