Red Bull promoted their junior pilot Isack Hadjar for partner Yuki Tsunoda to Red Bull’s Feeder Team RB next season. The 20-year-old French recruit takes the seat released by Liam Lawson after the promotion of New Zealanders to replace Sergio Perez alongside the quadruple world champion of Red Bull Max Verstappen for the 2025 campaign. “It’s huge for me, my family and all the people who have believed in me from the start,” said Hadjar.

Born and raised in Paris in an Algerian family, Hadjar impressed Red Bull’s bosses after finishing finalist in the Formula 2 championship this year.

“Karting’s trip to the ranks of only dryers to be now in Formula 1 is the moment when I have worked towards all my life-it’s the dream,” he added.

The director of the RB team, Laurent Mekies, said: “We are delighted to have Isack with us next year, bringing a new fresh dynamic to the team alongside Yuki.

“He has the talent and driving necessary to compete at the highest level, and we have all confidence that he will adapt quickly and will have a significant impact.”
