Cricket fans in India are often crazy about their team. And if the team owner is Shah Rukh Khan, then madness strikes the roof. The same is visible in a video that has become viral on social networks. In the video, that many social media users claim to come from an IPL match between Kolkata Knight Riders and Royal Challengers Bengaluru in the Gardens of Eden, a KKR fan can be seen to rape security and meet the actor of Bollywood. The fan, however, stops halfway as the police captures him and gives him a special treatment.

Meanwhile, a Candide Moeen Ali, who has temporarily but successfully succeeded in Sunil Narine’s emptiness during the Kolkata Knight Riders match against the Royals of Rajasthan, says he is “used to playing with someone who is better than me”. Being part of a KKR attack which also Varun Chakaravarthy in its ranks, Moeen worked well in tandem with the Indian Mystery Spinner and smothered RR in the middle of the Overs to restrict them to 151 for nine in their competition here on Wednesday.

“My job was to keep it tight, so that he could build the pressure and perhaps get the counters. I used to play bowling with someone who is better than me and who has more mystery than me. My work consists in tightening me as tight as possible and, let’s hope it reinforces the pressure so that this person then obtains counters,” said Moeen during the post-match press conference.

“Varun is very well bowling as we know and he is a brilliant brilliant. He has improved so much in the last two to three years. It’s amazing to play with someone like that,” he added.

While Moeen, 37, took up the challenge of returning impressive figures of 2/23 of four Overs, his young colleague from Spin Chakaravarthy finished with 2/23 in his full quota of four overs.

RR appreciated a fruitful power game, marking 54 points in the first six Overs, but the introduction of Spin changed the complexion of their sleeves.

Moeen rejected Yashasvi Jasiwal in his second plus, but his best moment of the game came when he sent Nitish Rana with a classic spinner who turned suddenly from the left -wing striker to hit the middle sting.
