Sunny Deol to resume shooting final leg of Lahore 1947 in Punjab, film release pushed to 2026: Report : Bollywood News
Production of Aamir Khan Lahore 1947 heads for its final schedule. After the first reports in November of last year suggested that Khan recommended changes to the film after his first cup, it seems that director Rajkumar Santoshi and the first Sunny Deol man should implement these revisions.

A midday report reveals that Sunny Deol will return to the sets next week for what should be the last stage of the drama of the period, which traces the emotional journey of people captured in the upheaval of the partition of India. The unit will go to Punjab for the calendar, with preparations already underway. “Sunny and Santoshi Sir will draw most of these newly envisaged sequences in real places of Punjab. The shooting will start on October 10 and will last 12 days,” the source told the portal.
While the overall cast also includes Preity Zinta and Shabana Azmi, the final calendar will focus only on Deol, because the other main players have finished their games. Preity finished filming in June of this year, sharing a sincere note and a montage on Instagram.
